Mural Painting

Rainer Maria Latzke is a pioneer of the new Renaissance of mural painting in the modern interior design. In the 80s when the avant-garde made white walls to a principle he brought back colors and atmosphere into contemporary housing. In the 90s the Forbes magazine named him, “the most influential artist of the decade” and international media such as the Herald Tribune voted him the “Modern Day´s Michelangelo”. His style, to combine classical  painting with modern ideas, inspired a whole generation of young muralists, his invention of the Frescography opened a new access to wall painting for  a wide audience.

Public Projects

Rainer Maria Latzke’s murals decorate numerous public buildings. Among them are restaurants of top international chefs, 5-star hotels and cruise ships as well as businesses and community organizations.

Private Projects

A mural can bring light, width and atmosphere into rooms – and is the most individual decoration, if they are tailor-made to the special architecture of the site and the customer´s requirements.


Pool Projects

In no other space environment affects so directly to the people as in the swimming pool. One is almost naked, there are large empty walls which because of the special climate cannot be embellished with usual decorations. Often, indoor swimming pools are situated in the basement or, if they have windows, are particularly in urban areas exposed to a joyless environment. Latzke transformed with ingenious room design, appropriate lighting and his murals sterile “wet rooms” in beautiful paradises,
