Particularly in swimming pools, marble is often the first choice, with its luxurious appearance and the many shades of color. The beauty of marble is revealed in a polished surface, though this comes with the big disadvantage of becoming slippery when in contact with water.

To preserve the beauty of a polished marble  coupled with a non slip surface Rainer Maria Latzke developed the patented Step’n Stop procedure.  For this special designed ornaments are engraved into the marble and ensure that there is always a part of the foot on a non-slip surface. The decorations are so finely worked that the overall impression of a polished surface is maintained and the decorations are visible only on closer inspection. Our Non-slip technique complies with the requirements for public facilities.
